Be The Reason Safety is a safety culture initiative centered on a simple yet powerful idea: you have the ability to inspire others to work safely. Founded by Brandon Wicker, a recognized safety leader with extensive experience in shaping safety culture, our goal is to move beyond “check the box” compliance and build sustainable safety habits.
Brandon holds an Associate of Science, a Bachelor of Science, and a Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health with a focus on construction. Currently pursuing a doctoral degree in business with a focus on occupational safety and health, Brandon believes that educating on the reason behind the rules is where behavior shifts. When safety becomes personal, it becomes powerful.
